8가지 특징
1. '차별화된 리프팅 결과'
처짐 현상은 대부분 ‘얼굴 앞부분’에서 나타나는데, 오랜기간 반복적인 얼굴 근육의 ‘움직임(MOVEMENT)’ 때문입니다. 얼굴의 앞쪽과 가쪽을 나누는 경계가 ‘유지인대(Retaining Ligaments)’이고, 이 단단한 조직을 풀어줘야(release) 앞부분의 처짐이 개선될 수 있습니다. ‘질긴 SMAS 아래 유지인대를 안전하게 충분히 박리하는 것’이 Deep Plane Facelift의 본질이고, 차별화된 결과의 핵심입니다.
2. '짧은 회복 기간'
수술 후 3-4일 이면 일상 생활과 화장이 가능하고, 대중 교통 이용할 수 있습니다. 7일이면 모든 실밥 제거합니다. 수술시 불필요한 트라우마를 최소로 하면, 멍과 붓기 별로 없이 빠른 회복이 가능합니다. 어떤 이유건 트라우마가 크면, 멍과 붓기, 통증이 심합니다. 또한, 울퉁불퉁한 부위도 넓고, 모세혈관확장증(telangiectasia) 등 후유증이 커지고 길게 갑니다. 결과는 SMAS와 유지인대 박리에 달려있고, 불필요한 트라우마를 줄이는 것이 빠른 회복의 비결입니다. 이것이 세계적 대가들의 최신 지견입니다.
3. '자연스럽고 예쁜 귀모양'
입체감있는 이주(tragus)와 동글동글 귓볼(ear lobe)이 관건입니다. 가끔 사라진 이주(concealed tragus)를 보기도 하는데, 집도의의 미적 감각과 섬세한 술기가 특히 요구됩니다. 또한, 피부 긴장을 줄이는 것이 대단히 중요합니다. 피부 절제를 많이 하거나, 과하게 힘을 주면, 칼귀는 반드시 생깁니다. 리프팅 수술 종류와 집도의의 경험과 전문성이 귀 모양에 그대로 나타납니다.
4. '잘 안보이는 절개선'
절개선은 가늘고 희미한 실선으로, 잘 안보이는 것이 이상적입니다. 간혹 심한 흉터가 생기기도 하는데, 체질적인 문제일 수도 있습니다. 하지만 대부분 피부 긴장(tension)이 너무 커지기 때문입니다. 피부를 과하게 당기거나, 지나치게 잘라내면, 피부는 버티지 못하고 흉터가 반드시 생깁니다. SMAS와 유지인대를 충분히 박리해서 당기면, 남는 피부만 잘라내고, 긴장을 안 줄수 있습니다. 결국 흉터 유무는 수술 방법 및 집도의의 실력과 밀접한 연관이 있습니다
5. '무통증'
Dr. Ryu’s Deep Plane Facelift 후, 통증이 거의 없습니다. 환자분들 대부분이 진통제가 필요 없었다고 합니다. SMAS 아래 유지인대 박리는 감각신경 영향을 덜 받고, 다른 불필요한 박리를 최소로 하기 때문입니다. 가끔, 귀 뒤에 고정된 실로 인해 묵직한 느낌이 있을 수 있지만, 곧 사그러집니다. 수술 중은 물론이고, 수술 후에도 무통증에 신기해 하십니다.
6. '자연스러운 눈매와 우아한 리프팅 효과''
거상 후, 어색하게 찢어진 눈꼬리 또는 부자연스럽게 쏠려 보이는 경우를 종종 봅니다. 이유는 피부를 위주로 당겨서 그렇습니다. SMAS로 당기기 어려울때, 그것을 보상하기 위해 피부를 위주로 당기는 경우가 많고, 그러면 필연적으로 부자연스럽고 수술한 티가 많이 나게 됩니다. SMAS와 유지인대를 충분히 박리하면, 피부를 당길 필요가 없고, 자연스러운 눈매와 우아한 결과를 얻을 수 있습니다. 리프팅 방식과 집도의의 실력을 유심히 살펴야 합니다.
7. '살짝 올라가는 입꼬리'
– SMAS와 유지인대를 충분히 박리해서 SMAS를 당기면, 입꼬리가 위로 올라가서 미소띤 얼굴이 됩니다. 조직의 질긴 정도와 피부 특성에 따라 정도의 차이는 있지만, 살짝 올라가는 매력적인 입꼬리를 기대할 수 있습니다.
8. '당김이 3일 착용'
당김이(compressive garment)는 얼굴에 압박을 가하는 것으로, 안쪽에 피가 덜 고이게 하는 목적으로 사용하고, 수술 후 3일 정도만 착용합니다. 오래 착용하면, 혈액순환을 방해하여 붓기가 오래가고, 회복을 느리게 하기 때문입니다.
리프팅 결과는 수술실에서 이미 판가름이 납니다. 당김이의 착용 기간이 결과에 직접적인 영향을 주지 않습니다. 불필요하게 길게 착용할 이유가 없다고 봅니다. 만약 안정감을 위해 더 착용하고 싶으면, 가급적 느슨하게 짧게 짧게 하길 권합니다.
